AFA - SURGERY for MIMI AND BOUVIER

Hi Everyone,

Both Mimi and Bouvier are currently at the vet in Santa Monica. We're trying to get their surgeries scheduled asap.
Mimi can't walk, it's so sad, she's so sweet. I got her a comfy dog bed for her trip in the car and for her stay at the vet so she'd be more comfortable. I noticed she had a red collar on, meaning no one came looking for her at the shelter:-(
Bouvier is a spunky puppy despite is broken leg. Both are such troopers! :-)

BOUVIER(below) - 3 month old adorable puppy...has spiral tib/fib fracture

Hi Everyone,

AFA (Angels for Animals Network) is going to rescue both MIMI and BOUVIER tomorrow from South LA shelter and get them the surgeries they need! <3 But we need your help to get them their surgeries ASAP so they dont have to keep suffering!

We work with rescue friendly vets and get the best possible price that we can on the surgeries. AFA is again teaming up with Michelle Stummp and now Suzanne Sturtridge Jones for help with veterinary care.

I'm picking both up tomorrow from the shelter and taking them directly to the vet for new x-rays. I'll update and add more pics:-)

Please help us get them their surgery...they've been patiently waiting in pain too long already. I know many of you have generously contributed to the medical urgents AFA has have helped rescue and fund in the past and I can't thank you enough for your generosity and support<3

BOUVIER - (A1113456) JUST A PUPPY! She's a sweet 13 wk old, white and brown, Female, Jack Russel mix, weighing only 7.5 lbs. Her x-rays show displaced, spiral mid tib/fib(both lower leg bones) fracture to the left leg. Surgery with pins will likely be required to fix her injury so she can walk properly. <3




MIMI - (A1116413) Shes a stray that was found injured and in a lot of pain. Her x-rays revealed a fractured pelvis(her L ischium, ilium, and the pubis) She will need surgery, titanium plates.
Mimi is a sweet mild tempered dog who will NOT be allowed to sit and SUFFER for long, she needs out URGENTLY! In pain! <3
